A diagnosis is the start, not the end. Understanding what it means for everyday life, at home, at school or at work, is the part that takes time and the part most people do alone, because post-diagnostic support is scarce wherever the assessment was done.

Review what is working, and finish with a short written summary of what you have agreed, which you can share with school, work or your GP if you choose.
Six one-to-one sessions with the same HCPC-registered clinician throughout, online or in person. Normally £800. Included with every child or adult autism assessment booked by 31 December 2026. Use the sessions any time within six months of your feedback appointment.
The assessment itself
Our assessments are informed by the NICE guidelines for autism assessment and carried out by a multidisciplinary team of HCPC-registered clinicians, with every case reviewed at a clinical panel chaired by a Clinical Psychologist. You will receive a full written report with recommendations within three weeks of your final session, and a feedback appointment to go through it together. Schools, GPs, employers and universities can use the report.
What if it isn't autism?
Then the assessment will set out which explanation better fits the profile of strengths and difficulties that brought you to us, and your clinician will take time to explain it in a way that makes sense. The support sessions are still yours, and we use them to work through what the assessment did find. You pay for an assessment, not a diagnosis.
